Tatja Renee, MS

I taught at Denver University and Butte College for several years yet longed for a career problem solving and working one-on-one with people. My experience in wellness and skin disorders began in the medical spa industry where my training led to certifications in medical aesthetics and acne treatment management. I then joined forces with a physician to begin a medical aesthetics practice. After studying acne for several years, I founded 916SKIN - Acne Treatment Clinic in Chico, Ca. My professional commitment to optimizing the skin's health through whole body wellness was inspired by my own struggle with acne, melasma, eczema and psoriasis.

I customize professional-grade acne skincare products and a variety of skin treatment modalities to heal acne and correct acne scarring. In addition to topical skin treatments, I look at the underlying factors that influence acne including diet, digestive wellness, toxicity, hormonal imbalances and food & chemical sensitivities  – referring out to health care providers as necessary. I stay abreast in my knowledge through continued education and am affiliated with the American Acne & Rosacea Society.
