It is structured like the Acne Treatment Program except it is a longer process that can take 6 months to 3 years depending on acne scar type, depth and severity. We use a comprehensive and holistic approach to heal acne scarred skin. Acne must be cleared before progressing to scar treatment. There are no treatments currently available on the market that offer complete skin restoration, but we can make significant improvements.

What works for one person may not work for the other. For this reason, all in-office treatments and daily skincare regimens are determined on an individual basis. As your skin improves, your scar treatments and skincare regimen will continually be adjusted to facilitate the healing process. We combine the power of bimonthly acne scar treatments with professional-grade, customized skincare products, and the guidance of an acne skin specialist.

WHO IS A CANDIDATE

The Acne Scarring Program requires patience, commitment and compliance. Acne treatments are required every two weeks and are scheduled in advance to ensure you stay on track. They want to get rid of acne scars so badly they will do what ever it takes to have healthy, smooth skin. This includes the demands of a rigorous skincare regimen. INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR SCAR TREATMENT

Although we do not bill insurance for acne scar treatments, we will provide you with documentation to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
